How to add Skype Links to your webpage

To add a link to open a Skype Call from a web page you need to add a link as such

<a href="callto://skypeusername/">Skype Username</a>

The callto: will be associated with Skype if it is installed on the viewers webpage.

//skypeusername/ is your skype username. Please note if your skype name has spaces or - then these are replaced with fullstops or dots .

IE: <a href="callto://this.is.a.fake.skype.name/">This is a fake skype username</a>

Some blogging software will screw the links up as it doesnt recognised the callto: as a valid html link, such as http: or ftp:
