Welcome to the home page of Mike Porter.
Here you will find information written by me, Mike Porter (aka mykp), some moans, some reviews, a lot of my photographs (which you can buy if you like) and other miscellaneous items which somebody, someday might find useful!
As of 22/10/2008 the site has had an overhaul as there where a few pages not working and new code has now made the site a bit faster. I will be adding new content shortly as I didnt have time to add it with the update.
The most popular pages on the site are the now listed at the bottom left of the home page with the most popular pages being the Japanese/Japan section, to which I have added a useful Japanese phrases page for those wishing to learn Japanese as well as basic Japanese for travellers. There are also a few reviews of places I have been to in Japan.
The my thoughts section is a mix of various rants, reviews and information. Some maybe useful, some might be informative, some might not be to everyones taste. If after youve read a page and you have a comment youd like to leave then add your comment in the form at the bottom of each page.
The adverts I have put on the site are purely here to help raise a few pounds to pay for the hosting for this site, I have no affiliation with any of the advertisers on my site, as I stated they are there purely to pay for my hosting.
I have also added a few tools on this page so you can see the most popular pages and also the pages which where updated last. If youve been redirected here looking for the mykp.co.uk forums, then please note there gone. I deleted them as it was proving so much hasstle keeping them running its just not worth the effort.
Please note that this site is subject to Copyright of Mike Porter! I have put a great deal of time and effort into this site and dont take kindly to having my work nicked and have and will take action against those stealing from my site.
