Alloy Wheel Refurb in East Cheshire
Are your cars alloys looking a little shabby? Are they scraped, scratched or has the lacquer started to peel?
Well all three had happened to the wheels on my forester, theyd got scratched while using the car off road, theyd got chipped while driving down those small pot holes that are all over Cheshire, (You know the ones which are big enough to house a family of immigrants). A because of these chips and scratches the lacquer had started to peel off them.
I asked around for the best place in East Cheshire and the name Spraytech came up again and again, so gave them a call.
Turns out you dont have to take your wheels to them, they are mobile and come to you. They have a fully equipped vehicle with all the neccassary bits and bobs to do the work at your location. All they ask is that you have a power supply they can use while doing the work.
An appointment was arranged and Graham, the owner, turns up and firstly explains a little about whats involved and then cracks on with it straight way. The car is jacked and then put on axle stands and all the wheels are taken off. Graham then lets down the tyres and takes them off the bead to do they work.
The alloys are then sanded, by machine as well as by hand to get a smooth finish, then all imperfections are filled and more sanding takes place. Once Graham is happy with the smoothness and finish they are then primed and painted, 2 coats I believe and a final coat of laquer.
It think the final finish looks great and theres a couple of images below with the wheels back on the car.
If you need your alloys refurbishing then id heartily recommend Spraytech Alloys, so give them a call on 07968 828 556 and speak to Graham.
Take on the day that my wheels where refurbed
