Forester Accident
On a recent trip to Cornwall when slowing in traffic on the M5, the Forester was hit from behind. It was only a tap but it caused enough damage to crack and bend my back bumper as well as smashing my number plate lights and my number plate. However from the look of the other vehicles involved, somebody ran into the back of me and then another car ran into the back of that car and then another ran into the back of that. So a four car accident!

Doesnt look to bad does it. But when you take the bumper off.

The bracket in the middle of the picture should be square and should also be higher at the back. The smaller bracket hanging down is the bracket which holds the number plate lights and should be straight.
Anyway the bodyshop the car is in have said we have been very lucky with the damage as if the flat panel which runs across the back of the car had been damaged then this could have been more serious.
