Albion Salt works from the River Weaver

Today before going to see an old friend I took my dog for a walk down the banks of the River Weaver past the Albion Salt works at Winsford.

It’s a pretty photogenic place and there are litterly loads of vantage point to stop and take photos of the works in action. I did take a quick video of the workers moving the salt from the mine exit, the conical shaped building, out into the yard for storage.
