Here’s some of the photos of Silloth, Cumbria I’ve taken over the last few weeks while walking in and around the town. I stayed in the town for two Glorious weeks at the end of March 2015 and loved every minute of the place. The weather was “Bloody” windy interspersed with heavy rain but when the sun shined it was glorious. Spend most of the week walking round the area or cycling around the Solway coast or down to Maryport and Workington.
For those who don’t know, Silloth is a harbour town about 23 miles west of Carlisle on the Solway coast. It has plenty of beautiful houses and places to walk and cycle and is close to the western end of Hadrians wall.
